Do you want to experience East Asia like never before — combining classroom learning with real-world exploration? This 10-week study abroad program brings you to South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan for an unforgettable international learning experience.

Students take four courses for 12 credit hours while discovering the history, culture, and security landscape of the region. No prerequisites or language skills are required, making this program accessible to students from all disciplines.

The program begins in Seoul, South Korea, where students spend four weeks studying at the heart of a global cultural and economic hub. Next, participants embark on a two-week journey across Japan, visiting Hiroshima, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and Tokyo, gaining firsthand insight into the region’s history, culture, and security landscape. The final leg takes place in Taipei, Taiwan, where students spend four weeks at Tatung University, deepening their understanding of international relations, sustainable development, and resilience.
